Do I need an AI agent to use Logcove?
No. Your logs are ordinary Parquet files. Use DuckDB, Python, or any compatible tool. The CLI and Skills make working with Codex or Claude Code convenient, but an agent is optional.
What can I send to Logcove?
Send structured logs over HTTP JSON or OTLP HTTP/Protobuf. Each Project uses one ingestion protocol and a write key. OTLP support currently covers logs, not traces or metrics.
Where does my data get analyzed?
Logcove collects and stores your logs in the cloud. CLI downloads are analyzed on your machine; web previews and charts run in your browser. If you use an AI agent, what it sends to its model provider depends on your tools and settings.
How is usage measured?
Usage is the actual size of compressed Parquet written across your Projects. Free includes 300 MB once per account. Paid plans provide a new allowance each paid billing period. Deleting files does not restore that allowance.
What happens when I reach my limit?
New ingestion pauses after usage is reported and the collector configuration updates. Existing logs remain readable during their retention period. There are no automatic overage charges.
Can I keep my downloaded logs?
Yes. Cloud files are accessible for up to 90 days after upload. Files you have downloaded are yours to keep and analyze independently. Downloads are included in every plan.
