About these terms
Logcove is operated by Fei Long, an individual developer trading as Logcove. These terms are between you and Fei Long and govern your use of our website, application, API, and hosted log collection service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for any organization whose data you submit. Contact us at support@logcove.com. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
What Logcove provides
Logcove collects logs, stores them as downloadable Parquet files, and provides tools for local exploration and saved Chart definitions. Browser computations run on your device. External AI agents and local analysis tools are optional and subject to their own terms and costs. Features described as coming soon are not included as currently available services. Open-source client components are also subject to their accompanying licenses.
Your account and acceptable use
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. Only submit data you have the right to collect and process. Do not use Logcove for unlawful activity, to distribute malware, interfere with other customers, evade usage restrictions, or access data without permission. You are responsible for the applications and tools you authorize to access your data.
Your data and retention
You retain ownership of your logs and other content. You grant us permission to process, store, and transmit that content only as needed to provide and protect the service and meet legal obligations. You are responsible for the content you upload and for keeping any long-term copies you need.
Cloud log files are accessible for up to 90 days after upload. Expired files are scheduled for deletion. Download copies before they expire; Logcove is not a permanent archive or a substitute for your backups. Local copies remain under your control. Saved Charts contain definitions and do not preserve the underlying logs beyond their retention period.
Plans and usage limits
The Free plan includes 300 MB of compressed Parquet writes in total per account and one active Project. This allowance does not reset monthly. When available, Starter is US$5 per billing month with 20 GB of writes and five active Projects; Pro is US$15 per billing month with 100 GB of writes and fifteen active Projects. Applicable taxes and the final charge are shown at checkout.
Usage is measured across your Projects using compressed Parquet bytes (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes). Paid allowances renew each paid billing period and do not roll over. Deleting or expiring data does not restore consumed write allowance. At your limit, new ingestion pauses after usage reporting and configuration updates. Existing files remain readable until expiry. We do not automatically charge overage fees.
Paid plans are currently marked Coming soon. The payment, renewal, and refund provisions below apply when you purchase a paid subscription; they do not mean paid checkout is already available.
Payments and renewal
Creem is our Merchant of Record for paid purchases and handles payment collection, applicable transaction taxes, and payment-related matters under its checkout terms. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Pricing and the billing period are shown before purchase. We will give notice of subscription price changes before they apply to a future billing period. Failed payments may result in suspension of paid writing privileges; a new allowance is not granted until payment succeeds.
Canceling a subscription
You can cancel future renewal through the billing portal or contact support@logcove.com for help. Unless you request and receive a refund that ends the subscription immediately, cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid billing period. Cancellation alone does not refund the current period. After paid access ends, paid ingestion stops; existing logs remain readable within their original retention period. Cancellation does not restart the Free allowance or extend log retention.
Refund policy
- First purchase: request a full refund within seven calendar days of your first successful subscription payment. We do not deduct used write allowance from this refund. This first-purchase offer is available once per customer.
- Renewals: renewal payments are normally non-refundable. If you forgot to cancel and have not used the new period's write allowance, contact us promptly; we may refund that renewal after review.
- Billing errors: we refund verified duplicate charges and amounts incorrectly charged.
- Service problems: if a Logcove issue prevents normal use of the core service, contact us. After verification, we provide a full or partial refund based on the impact.
To request a refund, email support@logcove.com with your account email and order or transaction reference. Do not send card details or passwords. Approved refunds are processed through Creem to the original payment method. Funds typically arrive within 5-10 business days after processing, depending on the payment method and bank.
A full refund ends the corresponding paid writing privileges and cancels future renewal. Existing logs remain subject to their original retention period; a refund does not restart trial allowance or extend retention. Partial-refund arrangements will be explained when approved.
This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights under applicable law or Creem's rights as Merchant of Record to issue refunds, including to resolve payment disputes.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation, loss-free log delivery, or a service-level agreement. Network failures, ingestion limits, and client configuration can affect delivery. You should verify collection and analysis results before relying on them. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses or problems caused by your applications, local environment, or third-party tools. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Suspension, closure, and changes
We may restrict access for non-payment, abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or material violations of these terms. Where practical, we will notify you and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. To request account closure, contact support@logcove.com; closing an account is different from canceling renewal.
We may change these terms or the service. Material changes will be communicated before taking effect where required, and the latest terms will remain available here. We will not retroactively remove a refund right that applied when you purchased. Please contact support@logcove.com first about disputes so we can try to resolve them. Mandatory protections under the laws applicable to you remain unaffected.
